People of Love, get ready for one hell of a musical ride! When you say breakbeat, one name sounds louder than the rest – Stanton Warriors! Since the turn of the millennium, British duo Dominic Butler and Mark Yardley have been serving up some of the juiciest beats to get any dancefloor rocking.
In 2001, they released their breakthrough mix album “The Stanton Session”, which included three of their own tracks, “Da Virus”, “Da Antidote” and “Can You Feel It/Everybody Come On”. The latter track, a mashup created by the duo, reached number 13 in the UK charts.
Their third mixtape, “Stanton Session Vol. 3”, was released in the UK on 27 October 2008 and became their best-selling title, receiving a 5 out of 5 rating from iDJ magazine. This album was also released in a limited edition, packaged with a special cover resembling a sewer hatch.
The Stanton Warriors are masters of energy and their Stanton Sessions parties sell out clubs and festivals from Europe through America to Asia and Australia. They’ve remixed legends like Basement Jaxx and Fatboy Slim, but their own production remains absolutely unbeatable!
