He was born on July 29, 1994 in Naperville, Illinois and began his music career while studying accounting at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. During this time, he worked as a DJ at local clubs such as The Red Lion and Canopy Club.
In 2019, he left his position as a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young to devote his full time to music. The breakthrough in his career came in 2020 with the release of “Deep End” under Defected Records, which became the longest running number one hit on the Beatport chart that year.
This was followed by successful singles such as “Sun Came Up” in collaboration with Sofi Tukker and “Human” with vocals by Echoes, which reached number one on the US dance chart.
