Beats for Love festival starts in a week!
The biggest electronic music festival in the heart of Europe will open its doors on Wednesday 3rd July 2024 from 16:00. This year, dance music fans can look forward to 4 days of performances by more than 500 international and Czech DJs, artists and performers, who will perform at stages and zones in the Dolní Vítkovice area and afterparties. This year’s edition promises the largest number of headliners and the strongest line up in history. This year, also a lot of events and activities will be available within the rich accompanying programme.
The anniversary of the Beats for Love festival will also bring a number of improvements. One of the main changes is the introduction of cashless payments. Visitors can also look forward to an improved design of the zones and stages, a more spacious venue, as well as greater financial comfort and safety during the festival days.
This festival will feature David Guetta, Chase & Status, Eric Prydz, Becky Hill, Hybrid Minds, Lost Frequencies, W&W, Boris Brejcha and dozens of other world-class stars. You can find all of this year’s performers here.
As always, visitors can look forward to the accompanying programme, which is also very rich this year. The second edition of the popular Talking Beats conference, which will take place in the so-called Velín koksovny right in the centre of the venue, will also attract attention. The conference will be attended by popular domestic and foreign artists, organizers of the biggest Czech festivals and other experienced figures not only in the music industry. For example, the beginnings of DJing in the Czech Republic, the mental health of artists, the organization of music events or combining DJ career and family life will be discussed. In addition to the traditionally popular activities such as beerpong, table football, parkour art shows, rap open mic, graffiti zone, this year there will also be the Oxygen Bar Vítkovice or the ČEZ Energy Zone. In cooperation with the health organisation Rozkoš bez rizika (Delight without Risk), visitors can get tested for sexually transmitted diseases and have their blood alcohol level tested free of charge at the entrance (Promile and AlcoForce booths). In addition, this year the festival will also focus on sustainability in fashion in the so-called Green Creativity Zone, where thematic discussions, fashion shows and workshops will take place.
Visitors can also look forward to unique performances that will take place in different parts of the venue, in front of the Love stage by ČSOB and in the alleys between the zones. Whether it is a dance exhibition, a fireshow, performances by street artists or a completely unique parade with a mobile and moving statue of a giant mythical creature.
Last but not least, the festival has a traditional humanitarian dimension with the Beats for Charity fundraiser. There will be a public collection to support seven-month-old Dorian Příborský from Havířov and nine-year-old Isabel Kavalová from Petrovice u Karviné. In addition, the festival organisers will raise the amount of money collected with their own generous contribution and all the money raised will go to where it will help the most. The money will help both children to get the necessary care, rehabilitation aids and generally improve their quality of life.
Visitors to the festival grounds during the hot summer days will surely be delighted by the fresh breeze of new merch, i.e. accessories and clothing tailor-made for Beats for Love fans. For a reasonable price that matches the quality, you can look forward to novel cuts, quality materials with certification, but most importantly, pieces that will not get tired and will be pleasing and practical. Examples include reversible swimwear, fitting leggings or anniversary sweatshirts and T-shirts made from organic cotton.
