Beats for Love 2025: the biggest Czech festival introduces unique design and fresh new innovations
The Beats for Love Festival enters a new decade with a brand new concept – a revolutionary design transformation called Beats for Love Universe that takes the visitor experience to a whole new level. The Czech Republic’s largest open-air festival brings not only a world-class line-up, but also innovations in comfort, safety and a completely new artistic and design look to the venue. The organisers introduced this ambitious vision at a press conference at the Prague headquarters of ČSOB SHQ.
This year’s Beats for Love, which will take place from 2 to 5 July 2025, will rewrite the festival’s history and open up a whole new dimension to this iconic celebration of electronic music. In the unique industrial environment of Dolní Vítkovice, several new fantastic worlds with breathtaking atmospheres will be created under the title of Beats for Love Universe. “We have taken inspiration from the world’s biggest events and are taking the experience to the next level. We want the four days of the festival to be literally packed with energy and unforgettable moments that visitors will be inspired by all year round,” says festival director and founder Kamil Rudolf. The festival will open three new thematic zones in its area – Love Sphere, Space Sphere and Industrial Sphere, complemented by the main festival avenue Pulse, which will connect the entire Universe. “This is a major evolution of Beats for Love and a huge challenge. We believe fans will be as excited about this transformation of the venue as we are,” Rudolf adds.

Like every year, Beats for Love will bring the most important names of the world electronic dance scene to Ostrava. “So far, our line-up is topped by such titans as EDM legend Armin van Buuren, drum and bass wizard Sub Focus, master of epic sound Apashe, Australian showman Timmy Trumpet, popular British singer John Newman or the world premiere of a joint performance by top drum and bass DJ A.M.C and his partner, singer Koven. You won’t experience this exclusive show anywhere else in 2025,” says Jiří Ramík, the festival’s programme director.
At the press conference, the organizers also revealed the names of the headliners who will perform at Beats for Love for the first time. The first of them is English hitmaker Jax Jones. He scored a breakthrough in his career with the release of the hit single “I Got You”, which successfully ruled the charts all over the world. The next is the hottest name on the world scene today, American DJ John Summit. “We are delighted that John Summit will make his festival debut in the Czech Republic at Beats for Love,” Ramík added. The last news is the best DJ duo in the world at the moment – brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. “We believe that their show will be a dream come true for many of our fans, as they have repeatedly asked for them. We are happy that this year they will showcase their art in a big scale at Love stage by ČSOB,” Ramík specified.
Revolutionary 360° stage, unique projects and exclusive collaborations
This year, the festival will also offer the already established safe and reliable cashless system. “People come to the festival for music and great experiences, not for queues, ATMs or pocket change. That’s why, in cooperation with with VISA, we have again this year prepared fast and secure cashless payments anywhere at the festival. We know that young people in particular nowadays naturally pay contactless, with more than two thirds of them preferring to use their mobile phones or watches to pay. So we want to enable them to focus on the music and the atmosphere,” says Martin Jarolím, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of ČSOB responsible for retail.
Another new addition to the venue will be the new, giant and technically advanced Techno Dome by Proud. This year it will be housed in a large capacity tent with a modern 360° stage concept. “Proud in collaboration with Beats for Love turns the flow of the techno scene and brings a unique stage where the DJ will play right in the middle of the crowd. The first ever stage of its kind will create a unique atmosphere full of raw energy and close contact with the music. Visitors can expect cutting-edge visuals, a thrilling vibe and a line-up headed by stars like DJ Rush, Richie Hawtin and other legends,” says Jakub Marek, marketing manager representing Proud.
A unique concept of the Radio Evropa 2 studio will be a novelty of the 11th festival edition. “This is the first time in history that Evropa 2 will broadcast live directly from the festival itself. Fans can look forward to live broadcasts, contests, interviews with DJ stars and other content spiced up with the festival atmosphere,” Rudolf explains.
Every year the festival proves that Beats for Love is not just about music and entertainment with its Beats for Charity project, and this year will be no exception. Visitors can financially support selected fighters against the bad luck both inside and outside the festival area via a qr code. Each time, after the public fundraising, the festival director will generously round up, even double, the amount of money collected to make the aid truly effective. “This year, our long-term partner ČEZ Group is also sponsoring the charity. It will support the fundraiser through its EPP Pomáhej Pohybem app and ČEZ Group will then increase the amount collected with a financial contribution,” adds Gabriela Rudolfová, a member of the Beats for Love production team.
This year the festival will also be enriched by the popular Talking Beats conference. Its third edition will offer a wide range of panel discussions with interesting guests from the music and culture industry, well-known DJs and producers, organizers of the most important Czech and Slovak music events, as well as personalities representing major partners of the festival, representatives of the local government and important personalities of the region.
Breathtaking shows and unforgettable experiences in the world of Beats for Love
An imaginary jewel in the crown of the eleventh edition of Beats for Love is the accompanying programme. It will fully correspond with the new concept of the Beats for Love Universe. “Once again we have bet on quality, and that’s why you will find only the best artists at the festival. They will beautifully complement the atmosphere and genius loci of the given sphere,” says the festival’s production manager Magdaléna Pastrňáková. Visitors will literally have a number of shows by foreign and Czech artists at their fingertips, a mysterious parade with an allegorical vehicle and light and fire shows in the air and on the ground.
Kofola, which has long been associated with the theme of love, will become the festival’s new official partner. The accompanying programme will be complemented by its Square of Love, where festival and real weddings will take place. “We have found that young people are increasingly dating online and spending a lot of time on apps without any outcome. That’s why at Beats for Love we will also introduce a special app that will allow people to meet each other directly at the festival and immediately find out if they are a good match over a Kofola mug,” says Daniel Buryš, CEO of Kofola Czechoslovakia. Kofola’s Cupids will also appear on the venue to inspire visitors to express their love.
Beats for Love in a nutshell
Beats for Love is the largest music festival in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and at the same time the largest electronic dance event in Central Europe. Its 11th edition will take place from 2 to 5 July 2025 in the unique venue of the industrial and cultural heritage zone of Ostrava’s Dolní Vítkovice. Visitors can experience unforgettable shows by international and domestic stars. The variety of genres makes the Beats for Love festival one of the most diverse dance events in the world. Traditionally, the festival features representatives of more than 25 subgenres of electronic music. All this is highlighted by the incredible, electrifying energy flowing among the visitors, the so-called People of Love. The festival can also be proud of its record attendance. Over the previous ten years, around 900,000 visitors have passed through its gates to see the performances of almost 4,000 DJs and performers on 18 stages. In 2024, this was a new record of 162,000 visitors over the 4 days of the festival.
