The Beats for Love festival pays attention to its visitors. It will remain cashless!

The 11th anniversary of Ostrava’s largest electronic dance music festival, Beats for Love, continues the successful tradition of cashless payments, which was decided mainly by the results of an extensive survey of fans and festival visitors. What other innovations is the festival planning for the next year and what can fans look forward to?

Our visitors were absolutely clear in the research. They want cashless and are grateful for this change in every way. We are glad that our general partner continues to be the ČSOB bank, which we can rely on for safe and convenient payments within the festival,” says festival CEO Kamil Rudolf.

Greater comfort and safety is one of the reasons that visitors praised most in the survey. “The festival should be all about fun and relaxation. We therefore want to meet these needs with our cashless solution. This way, visitors can leave all their cash at home and enjoy the whole event weightlessly,” adds Martin Jarolím, ČSOB Board member responsible for retail.

In addition to a world-class organisation, a busy programme and a new design concept!

However, the festival attracts not only for its world-class organisation, but above all for its programme, which will remain rich and diverse this year. “We are expecting great shows by performers from all over the world. I can already confirm the participation of British singer John Newman, for example...

World megastar Timmy Trumpet, who ranked 5th in the prestigious DJ Mag TOP 100 DJs poll this year, will also return to the Love stage by ČSOB and will perform a special hybrid set. The Grammy Award winner MC Flowdan, Belgian drum and bass producer Andromedik, the popular Norwegian duo of brothers called Kream, the German techno project PHARA LIVE and the Swiss duo QZB will also perform their show,” says Jiří Ramík, the festival’s programme director, who is also known under the artistic pseudonym DJ C-Phone.

However, the festival is also inviting its fans to an expanded accompanying programme, and a new design of the festival grounds. The aim is that by entering the festival gates, visitors will symbolically enter other dimensions and experience the atmosphere of several fantasy worlds. “We could already experience a small sample last year near the popular drum and bass stage. We had the whole area, the so-called Molten District, specially lit with fire lights and equipped with burning decorations that clearly refer to the history of the place. Fire, heat and steel, this is the genius loci we want to underline. We’re already looking forward to taking the whole area one step further artistically,” adds Rudolf.
